Nervous Owls Put On A Show
Hey Owl fans....thanks to all those who tuned in to our BBC introducing broadcast! This has been one of the most exciting things that the Owls have done to date, and we're very grateful to all of those involved at BBC Radio Lancashire for having us on the show!
We were all a little nervous as you could tell, and as the interviewing loomed, the Owls approached the microphone with the same cautious air as one might approach a loaded pistol – with Robin keeping very much in the background, and in the interview he succeeding in dodging the bullet altogether! The nerves gradually wore off as the show progressed, and by the last song it was clear that the band were significantly fired up (listen out for Fiona's “woooh!” on “House”)!
Overall, the Owls were happy with the session as a whole, and what we can say is that we are confident in our music – the show featured tracks which will feature on our EP due to be released later this year.
